Area
Conil is situated on the Atlantic coast in the province of Cadiz in the south of Andalusia. A typically charming ‘Pueblo Blanco’ with a long seafaring history.

Its privileged location, lodged between pinewoods and the seashore make it an ever more popular choice for holidaymakers as an exceptional enclave, the ideal resort, just as the Phoenicians did in the days gone by. Indeed it was the cradle of their ‘Almadrabas’ (Collective tuna fishing expeditions) and  fishing industry.

Conil´s mild climate, with more than 3200 hours of sun annually, the traditional, bountiful gastronomy, the friendly local atmosphere, the charming streets and the incomparable beaches as well as the variety of activities on offer for active tourism have all contributed in making one of the best tourist destinations at any time of the year.
